Problems with a few games, dont know why?

Hey,

Was wondering if anyone could help me, recently I have been have trouble running some games smoothly even though the FPS are around 50-60. I have read that the Radeon 5770 has driver problems, could this be it as i dont think it is the rest of my system!?!?

When you say recently, can you identify a specific time when it changed?

What drivers are you currently running? Try going back to Catalyst 10.3s..

I see from your sig that you have an Asus 5770.

Do you have Asus GamerOSD installed? I had similar issues with my 5870, removing GamerOSD fixed the issue for me.

Umm its been happening within the last couple of days, since i installed catalyst 10.5. In games such as BC2, assassins creed 2 and mass effect 2.

Will go back to 10.3 and let you know what happens, i will also remove gamer osd and see if that makes any difference.

I uninstalled 10.5 and installed 10.3 and also got rid of gamer OSD and now everything is running great!

10.5 has turned out a not so good driver for me also. I'm back to 10.4 again.

I havent had any issues with 10.5 tbh, but GamerOSD is a pain.
