Problems with a shared work car park

We have similar problems with people trying to use our car park.

If its your private car park then the normal highway rules do no apply as it is classed as private land i.e you can ram their car then drive off and the police can do nothing, insurance companies wont get involved and the cars owner can only take you to criminal court for criminal damage

What I said only applies to the parking space. If you are in a private car park without barriers and you hit someone on the carriageway, then it is still classed as a public highway.

What would be classed as the carriageway?

The spot in question is just behind the dude walking across the road with the large dark patch. With a car here, the parking space next to it (with the pole down) can be impossible or difficult to park in that spot. It also makes it hard for cars reversing from the three occupied spaces (Leon and AX)

Small claims I could cope with, insurances no. Put a call into the clamper too.

EDIT - Added box in picture

You live in Hwest?

That place is about 4 mins from my girlfriends house

We talked of location in TV & Movies - about HWest's infamously uncomfortable cinema seats and its questionable claim to "Dolby" quality sound. :)

Haven't you got a black teg? If so, I've seen it in Tesco a few times.

Changed the picture now. Where the red box is.

Cone is a good idea but they'd move it out the way. There is a dress shop under us and a dress shop opposite and they've had some cracking bitchfights over the spaces. One lady put a chair in one of the spaces where the three cars are in the above pic and the other lady wanting to park pretty much threw it at her.

What a bunch of muppets, so they are parking a car up against the entrance to parking area?

How legal would it be to get some big stickers made up, you know the ones that are bitch to get off and stick them to the windscreen next time they park there with the words next time you will be clamped?

The biggest issue is a couple of the ladies have no idea hw to park and they tend to just dump them around the entrance area and saunter off. If you approach them, you get nothing but hostility. The people that own the Chinese make sure they park very tight to the kurb and are aware of how difficult it makes parking in the bays so do their best.

The pavement area to the left of the red square is our land and the slabs have crumbled due to car parking on it. I parked on the pavement outside our front door and just by coincidence the landlord wandered by and gave me a royal dressing down. Need to keep him onside because we are hoping to buy the building in the future and need to keep him sweet.

I live near there :o
Anyway, it would be best not to park to the left of the entrance. From what I have seen people get a bit irrate about getting in and out of there.
