Problems with BitFenix Alchemy Cable Set

Hi All,

After finishing my build, I already had the BitFenix cable set which didn't fit the PSU I had at the time. After checking the Overclockers sales page it says the cables fit the Corsair HX series.
Long story short the BetFenix cable set doesn't work with the said PSU, the 24 pin mob cable doesn't even have the correct amount of pins to fit into the PSU.
I thought the PSU was dead or arrival but after plugging everything in with it's own cables everything booted up fine.
Has anyone else had this issue?
I have a useless but nice looking set of blue cables that I still can't use

Is your PSU the HX or the HXi?

Sounds to me like you have the old alchemy cables that supported the Corsair HX series not the alchemy 2.0 ones that support the HXi series which I believe is totally separate from the original HX series.

Well that's super confusing and a bit misleading from them right?
I've ordered some Corsair Professional Series HX Enthusiast TXM Series Individually Sleeved Cables Blue from Scan. (cant seem to post the link)
Hopefully they fit!?
