Problems with Corsair Flash Voyager USB memory?

I have got a problem with a 16GB Corsair Flash Voyager USB Thumb Drive. I can't copy files to it, delete files from it or even format it - it causes a "Write protected" error.

Has anyone experienced this problem and if so, how did you resolve it?

Is there a little button or switch on the USB? If so it could have been switched to Lock mode or whatever its called. As far as I know when in that mode, you can't do anything with it, just switch it back to unlock or something lol. Just my guess.

No, there isn't; that's the first thing I thought of and looking at the device on the OcUK web-site, there is no mention of any "Read only" switch

Various versions of Windows (Me, 2000, XP, Vista and v7) and I even tried Ubuntu; I don't think that it has anything to do with the OS.


Found the receipt, I've had it for less than a year so on Monday I'll try for a refund or replacement
