just bought the creative HS 600 headset, what a bloody mistake 
i've tried the 'front' audio on my PC (yes properly connected to the motherboard) and the rear audio on the motherboard (Asus P5W DH duluxe)
the head phones work a treat, but the mic, i cannot for the life of me get working, i've checked all the volume settings, and have the mic properly set up in my sounds drivers 'thing'
anyone got any ideas? or its back to argos with it tomorrow, and i buy the cheap crap from Game accross the road
edit: oh, but i can hear my voice in the headphones, but no one else can (vent/TS/BF2/WiC/windows sound recorder etc)
