Hi Guys

I have a friend with 2 x GTX 480's, an Asus GTX 480 & Zotac GTX 480 have installed latest driver and taken them out and used driver sweeper to remove nvidia stuff, but still doesn't show the option for SLI in the nvidia control panel....

I am stumped, can you help, the only thing I can think of now is that one is Asus and the other is Zotac, would that make a difference?

Cheers

Sli bridge is in place.....

Motherboard is Gigabyte EX58-UD3R SLI (rev 1.0)

Both cards are detected in Nvidia Control Panel and Device manager.

How old is the BIOS ?
Flash to a newer one.

The SLI token may be missing.
Could be it has had an early UD3r non SLI BIOS loaded in error.

Early UD3r's didn't support SLI you had to force flash them with the SLI version.
GigaByte later enabled SLI on all UD3r models.
