So I recently finished putting together my first build and I've encountered a rather big issue. . . the computer starts, the fans spin and both the CPU and what I assume is the inbuilt gpu warm up but there is no display output whatsoever. No post beeps nothing. However I can restart the machine by using the old Ctrl alt del. Which I beleive means that the CPU is working please help

I'm.running internal graphics and here's a list of all the components that matter

Asus A88XM-A AMD A88X chipset (socket FM2+) DDR3 micro atx motherboard

Xigmatech mavric 400W '80 plus Bronze' semi modular power supply

AMD Anthlon X4 860K black Edition 3.70GHz (socket fm2+) kaveri Quad Code Processor

Teamgroup Vulcan orange 16gb (2x8GB) DDR3 pc3 2133mhz dual channel kit ram

I checked the cables and ram already and when I take all the ram out there is no BIOS beep. .I've tries using both a VGA and a display cable . . .what's more idk which button the BIOS button is for this system

No bios beeps with no ram fitted would indicate a dead motherboard.
The manual will tell you what to press to get into bios.
Andi.

What monitor/cable type are you using?

Wondering this also.

I built a pc With a similar spec. Tried it first with hdmi to tv and no display and
could not enter bios.

Connected to a monitor using dvi cable and it worked perfect. Set up bios and installed windows without a problem.

However when i connected it back to the tv with hdmi, i could not enter bios again but windows worked just fine.

So then I can't run off internal graphics. . .that's a shame. . .thanks. . . .I'll have to wait ull the new year and try again. . .I'll update this post in the new year

The graphics card I will be getting is the
SAPPHIRE RADEON R7 370 DUAL-X 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-EXPRESS GRAPHICS CARD

For those of you who have built similarly spected systems could you tell me how well this system will work if everything works

I never Evan knew it was possible for a CPU to not have a built in gpu I guess that's just another thing learnt from my 1st building experience

most of the expensive mobos dont have onboaed gpu's cause they assume you would have/bought one allready, still an honest mustake tho
Just wondering what he plugged the hdmi cable into

There is a VGA, HDMI and DVI on the mobo - It just hasn't got the GPU :p At least he hasn't tried to wedge it into the RJ45 haha :D
