Hi there,
Basically I've been having this problem for quite a while now.. but I've basically just been 'coping' with it. I think what I'm seeing is artifacts and I think that they are caused by graphics cards... I have an X1800XT (so quite old now) with Zalman V900 fan (if I remember...) which I've cleaned all the dust out of. Got a random crash on L4D earlier too but I dont know if thats the game, or that could be anything really...

Anyway, here are the screenshots of what it looks like.

Sometimes it's quite handy if there's these lines coming out of zombies as I can see the zombies when no one else can! But still, obviously very annoying. Don't have any other graphics cards to test with so just going to have to rely on you guys to see what the problem might be.

Oh yeah, it does run fairly hot at idle, 54C, but I dont think it goes above 80C while I'm playing so I thought that it would still be ok?

usually means memory is over heating, thats what happens with mine when oc'd too much. Try taking the speed down abit or uping the fan speed

Ahh, I have 4gb GeIL Ultra Low Latency 800Mhz, they arent overclocked at all...

How can I cool them? Is there any sort of portable fan you can put of them or is there a more efficient method?
