Hey all, long time lurker first time poster here.

I recently upgraded from a MSI Twinfrozr III GTX570 to a MSI Twinfrozr GTX760 (https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-206-MS) and it's playing up a little bit, some games seem to be taking ages to load up and occasionally when I exit and go to chrome I start seeing artifacts within the browser. I do have MSI afterburner running and it was overclocked to settings that seemed to be recommended.

I've now set the card back to default settings to see if the problem persists, I was wondering if there are any diagnostic tools out there to detect if my card is faulty or if there are any possible causes for this?

The card uses less power than the previous so the PSU won't be to blame I think. Also I did have shadowplay running in the back round (passive recording) I'll turn that off and see if problems persist also.

Thank you

If you turn off hardware acceleration in chrome does the problem persist?

What settings were "recommended"? Ideally you should find your own cards limits as they can be vastly different to others. Start small on the core offset (+20) and keep incrementing by 10 while running some benchmarks (valley/heaven/etc). Once the core clock causes instability, drop it by about 10/20Mhz. Now rinse and repeat with the mem offset (although typically you can go with higher intervals here so it goes up quicker). Note that a stable core clock may change with mem clock offsets too, bit of a juggling act when it comes down to the fine tuning :)
