i have just put a second 470gtx in my rig and its aritacting or crashing after a while when the 1st card reaches about 85 degrees

i have tried running furmark on each card on there own and they are fine and dont crash even with oc's

but when i put both in sli when and run crysis warhead it will crash and the game will not respond andi have to close the game and start it again also whn it is working it seems like textures are missing as it dont look as detailed and in sertain parts there are faint marks across plain surfaces

and in furmark they artifact and the Nv driver crashes

also when i first put the second card in it aftifacted and hard crashed and had to restart it but i have not had that problem since

i was wondering if any one has any idea's why this is happerning :(

Can you test each card individually in games, could be that one has a memory problem, my old gtx 280 could run furmark no problem, once in a game it artifacted like crazy, turned out to be borked memory. Power shouldnt be an issue as an 850w psu is grand for sli 470's.

okay ill do some exstensive testing over tonight and tommorrow with diiffrennt games and print screen any problems that arise and i dont think it will be the sli bridge as it worked with my last set up but ill try another just in case

Don't use furmark.
Run each card either on:-
A) Crysis loop.
B) Heaven loop
C) Tropic 1.3 loop
30-60 min each.

If those pass you can safely say your cards are stable and then you need to be looking at the mobo / crossfire bridge / cpu etc...
I know with my comp the system needs a lot of IMC voltage for SLI.

Thats true, sometimes its not possible to get as high CPU overclock or needs more voltage to keep the rest of the system stable with a high overclock when you go to SLI.

my last set up with 275's was sli so would i be safe to rule it out? and just swapped the sli bridge just got to test

i've just taken both gpu's out left out for a bit then put them back in with a new bridge

Then ran 20 loops off the of the warhead benchmark on ambush 8x AA and it runs well but its liek the longer it runs the higher teh contrast/brightness gets and is seems less detailed some how as you can tell the diffrence when i started the benchmark again might be a benchmark bug

max temps where 92/84

so i decided to run furmark again and its been running 10mins fine no artifacts no problems no crashes so i think it has been solved but i still think crysis dont look as detailed as it should soem how

max temps in furmark where 93/89 so not to bad
