Hey guys, sorry for the vague title but I'm having an issue and I'm unsure of what it could be. Firstly I have been having crashes whilst gaming that typically starts with a black screen, I've managed to recover from that point before but typically the whole pc will freeze.
In addition to this problem I have had a crackle noise from my PSU which has been there for quite a while. I've noticed the games that have the black screen crash are the ones the PSU crackles on.
Lastly I've had it happen very rarely but last night I was playing a game that crashed to the desktop and when I went to launch it again it appeared my hdd had disconnected and was missing from Windows Explorer.
I've put a similar thread into the power supply section as I'm presuming it's that.
It's a 4-5 year old unit that is 1000w. I'll post my full specs when I get home.
Any ideas?
