<!-- --> problems with IE

Hey

I'm having a problem with my website where I try to put comments into xhtml code. It only occurs in IE6 where it indents some parts of my website with comments in the code . It validates fine but why is it doing this? Is it an IE6 bug?

Is there a work around for this?

I didn't have any comments before the doctype

I've fixed it now, it seems that IE6 was a bit fussy with where my comments where , I always put them after closing tasg and before new tags
