Ah!!!!
I have got a new laptop off a mate which came with no driver disks...
I have downloaded every single driver off of the HP support pages for this product and installed every single one.
However when I go into device manager within My Computer I still have the following devices which arent installed.. This causes my computer to have really long delays when executing a file or picture from my docs or the desktop, literally a 25 second wait, however everything else operates really quickly!!!
Its driving me mad.
The product is a HP Pavillion zd8147ea and I have windows xp pro installed!
The devices it cant find are as follows;
MASS STORAGE CONTROLLER
PCI DEVICE
Is there anyway I can solve this!!!!! Is there a program that can help, or do I need to provide you with more information on here!?
Everything contained within the laptop works, i.e. wireless lan, smc reader, network, modem, sound & all of the hot buttons on the laptop, even the mouse pad!!!
I really dont know what else to do, can anybody help?
Cheers
Chris
