I used to be with plusnet who put me on max on April
It all went fine, got interleaving off, got downloads of 650kbps
But as many people know PlusNet is crap
So i moved to IDNet, went straight for MAXDSL
Every thing was fine, took 3days to migrate
Fast speeds through out the day 650kbps
It comes to the last day of the training period (10days) and bang, i get random disconnects about 5 per day mostly late at night. This got sorted by turning interleaving back on (why didn’t i get any disconnects with plusnet?)
Also BT have (apparently) altered my SNR remotely (no change in my router)
The disconnects stop but i cant play with pings of 100ms
Yesterday interleaving gets turned back off but we had bad thunder and lightening which made pings 200ms all day (someone in my street had pings of 600ms he is with PlusNet)
Today pings are back to normal (ish) getting pings of 30 which is fine but it’s still a little higher than it used to be
ALSO! I can no longer sync above 3500kbps which is my main concern
I wouldn’t be bothered if i had problems from the start. But why now?
Have BT messed my line up somewhere?
Tried new filters
Tried master socket
Router is the Netgear DG834G V2 with latest firmware
