Problems with my Asus P5K rig

hey guys was wondering if you can help me with the two problems i have:

1)
It wont boot Western Digital Lifeguard tools in DOS.

Says:

driver not found : 'generic'

a:/> NWCDEX.exe requires a Driver name to be specified

and then gives me command promt.....

I want to fully format my HDD using thier tools, i tried making a floppy version but then get:

Seek error reading drive

bleh any help available on this silly problem?

Now all of a sudden when i turn on my PC it powers up then quickly powers down for a few second then powers up fully....im like wtf what the hells caused this!
Anyone know?

its somthing to do with the ich9 chipset im sure as mine does this

Number 2 happens to me as well, I'm not sure why however my PC is stable according to Prime95

Can you not use the WD Tools to format the drive in windows?

Number 2 looks like there isnt enough power running through the Mobo at first try. What PSU do you have?
