Hi, I have a creative audigy soundcard currently fitted in one of my pci slots
the card looks like this, "Sounblaster Audigy 7.1 se"
When I boot up the computer after fitting it, I get the message that a new multimedia audio controller has been detected, and I choose to install it automatically. The drivers are then automatically installed.
I go into the device manager and its there in the audio section however I have no sound. I then try rebooting to see if this will fix the problem and then I go into device manager and the entry for the audigy has vanished
Ive tried both available pci slots and the same happens in both. I have disabled ac97 audio by selecting disable in the BIOS.
