Hi,

I just bought the Belkin adsl wireless g router that ocuk sell for £15. Now I have got it all connected to my net connection no problems, and I can connect to it by wire no problems. But when I try to sort out the wireless it doesn't work.

I have turned off any wep etc and it now works with the wireless. So I have tried both WPA-PSK and WEP 64-bit. Both of these come out with the same problem of being able to initially connect then a few minutes later it drops the connection and does not allow you to reconnect, but the router can still be seen on the network.

I have made sure that it isnt conflicting with channel number also just in case that is an issue. Also this runs true for all 7 different devices I have tried, one also using a Belkin wireless g pci card.

Any ideas for anything I can try?

if you manage to connect using wep etc but then drops off a few mins later then i'm srry i can't help, the main reason i responded was to get your help request bumped back to the top of the new posts thread as to have others that are online now respond that can maybe help you

Speak to Belkin online support, they're not that bad. I had connection issues with a G router before xmas and they agreed to replace it free of charge. Unfortunately the replacement was DOA so I had to go through the process again. I kicked up a little more this time and was sent an N router for my troubles.
