Problems with my new build

Hi all

Building up my machine today minus the RAM

anyways

chucked some power thru it and it starts for like 2 secs before powering down again for 2 secs and trying again...on its own.

my systems specs are in my sig, anyone got any ideas?

gonna take it out of case tomorrow and try to chuck some power thru it again to see if its a short but its beginning to irritate me!

nice brief 2 second blue lights tho :0)

i had a similar problem with my DS4 it was a ram compatability issue! if you have another make of ddr 2 lying around give it a try.

have a look this forum for some ideas

Hi,

It doesnt have any Ram in there yet. Only ordered it this morning, and got my cpu thru today so I thought i'd chuck some power thru it to see if all the fans etc work.

could it be that there is no Ram? surely tho it would just beep at me not shut down and retry?!

Any ideas or suggestions?
