problems with my new Nvidia GTX 760

Cleaned up your thread. A warning as you are new here, swearing will not be tolerated. We have a swear filter for full words but abbreviated words are not allowed. Next time will be a suspension.

Ranjerjr1, leave the thread please.

Hopefully you'll get the help you need. Can you check that you definitely have all the right PCI-E power cables plugged in to the card? Could it be a PSU issue?

@ PhysicsMan94, where you go from here it might be a good idea for him to unistall those Windows VGA drivers, but not before disconnecting from the Internet so that Windows is thwarted in that.

how to get rid of Windows VGA drivers.

Hi GS1981,

I had a 670 before i got my 780 and even tough the 670 worked perfectly fine i had to update my motherboard bios for the 780 to install drivers properly.

The only thing that i can think of is update your motherboard bios to the latest, If this does not work it might be a faulty card.

This I bet. Could be a bios issue or a gpu issue. A few weeks back I went from 2 780's to 2 760's and I remember after installing drivers I got black screen too. I simply hit reset button and it all worked after. Also you could try to un-install the Intel graphic drivers manually.

Just updated the bios now, gonna try installing it one last time, if it don't work i'm going to send it back as faulty.

If the next one don't work then i'll have no choice but to get a refund :(

Doesent help that my motherboard makers stopped supporting the motherboard in Febuary 2012, I only bought it in December 2011 :(

No mate, only got a laptop and thats it, gonna have to get a refund on it, Its obviously not compatiable with my rig cos my bios is so out of date and theres no update :(

I put my 560ti in and works perfect.

Ok i thought everything was fine, i really wish i didnt flash my bios now, my resolution is screwed and theres no option to start i safe mode anymore! :(
