Hi,

I have just got my OcUK Value 300mbps dongle today and I am having problems with connecting to my BT Homehub 3. Well it connects to the router no problems and shows a good strong signal. But when I go to use the internet no website will load for me, even the routers control panel.

I have tried pinging the router which comes back perfect. Also interestingly websites return a ping too no problems. What could be causing this? I am running the recommended drivers by the way.

Finally I noticed I cannot see any other pc's on my network too, but the router can see the device connected to it from its control panel.

I have also tried it on a 2nd pc to which exactly the same happens.

Have you classified the network and set the windows security profile accordingly?

Also check your DNS settings are the same as the adaptors that work.

you may also need to tweak the binding order so it uses IPv4 in preference to IPv6, but try the other stuff first before you screw about with this.

Yes I have put them into the homegroup and made sure its settings are correct if thats what you mean. And yes I have double checked the DNS settings too, all of it is just obtain from the router.
