Problems with my new PC :(

Recently bought some parts for a new PC, put it all together, everything is powering up however there is no "system beep"/indiction of boot



Motherboard light is on, all devices are powered including case fans etc but no bios activity. What can cause this issue? THanks

Spec is::

AMD Athlon X2 4400
Asus A8N32-SLi Deluxe
1GiG Cosair
Ati Radeon 512MB 1900XT
Hiper 580W PSU
 
In addition to clearing the CMOs, try the following steps:

-Unplug all devices except 1 stick of memory, cpu and video card
-Run the motherboard outside of the case to remove the possibility of shorting
-Reseat the cpu and heatsink
 
all ways check the easyist things first. i had this problem and spend ages trying to work it out. turn out to be a faulty speaker on the motherboard. gods knows how that stopped it bboting windows?
