Problems with my new rig (memory)

I have just recieved and built my new computer.

It is:
EVGA 650i ultra motherboard
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.33 GHz/4 MB cache (E6550)
2 * OCZ 1 GB RAM sticks @ 800 MHz, 4-4-4-15
7600 GT.

Everything is working all fine and dandy, apart from the RAM. It only reads 1 GB of RAM. I have tried the RAM in different slots, and it still only registered as 1 GB (at 5-5-5-15). Is the RAM faulty? Or is there something I must do?

Thanks in advance.

Is there any bios updates available that may fix this?

If not it could be the motherboard at fault, just to confirm when you put one stick in does that read 1024mb or 512mb and what are you reading with CPU-Z?

Also how much does it say in bios?
I am not sure. I can't update my BIOS due to not having a CD Drive, nor a floppy drive. I don't have a DVD RW or anything.

What can I do? :[

Have you tried a single stick in each of the slots in sequence to test every slot works? (Mobo *might* not support that , but should I think.) Might be a buggered DIMM slot.
Yes, I did.

Errr, I don't know to explain it, but I'll try.

There's four RAM slots, two a white (the first dual channel, I guess), and two are black (the second dual channel).

I've tried each ram stick in each white slot. I haven't touched the black slots. Would putting both my RAM sticks into the black slots be the same as putting them in the white? (The white slot is closest to the processor)
