Problems with my performance

I installed the new 6950 2GB yesterday. Was getting amazing 80-150fps on SWTOR maxed out 2560x1440

Today I'm getting FPS of like 10-70, and on games like cod4 maxed out I'm getting 250fps. Any suggestions? I updated to the 12.1 drivers so I'm really not sure what's causing the fps drop

Also my fps isn't increasing if i change the resolution to lower or graphics to lower, no clue whats happening

Sure you haven't change any settings? Looks like the sort of drop you might expect from turning AA settings right up. Double check that there isn't anything forced in the Catalyst Control Center too

Which thread should I keep alive then haha, and yeah I've checked Blooms off and what not, where would I check for forced AA? Also how would Xfire 6950s improve my performance?

I laughed when I saw the title of this thread:

Perhaps discussion with the girlfriend is needed as opposed to consulting a bunch of computer nerds who've all been stirred into a slavering mess by the latest 7970 benchmarks...

On a serious note - looks like some of the settings may have been changed. As above rule out any changes to CCC settings
