Problems with my roccat kave

Hey all, back again but this time with a problem.

I've had a roccat kave for just under 5 months now and it's started making a crackling noise when I touch the wire and the mic flashes on and off, and sometimes the sound stops working. The problem is, it doesn't always do this and sometimes goes days apart before it goes off so I couldn't even return it.

Sometimes restarting the computer fixes it but not for very long. Any idea what I could do, or what the problem is?

I'm guessing you have a loose cable or something is damaged which is causing a crackling sound.

It is just the poor build quality. You've got a loose connection somewhere which will be very difficult to locate and fix.

So if I leave it, will it stay as it is or get worse? I really can't afford to buy a new one right now.

Try the old "try it on another PC" routine, then RMA it.
