I've just upgraded my system to the following:
Abit IP35-Pro XE (from MM)
E5200
Radeon 4870 1Gb
4Gb Kingston PC6400
Corsair HX 520W (from my Opteron system)
Vista Home Premium 64-bit
When I first assembled the system I couldn't get the board to POST. The code displayed on the mobo was "90", which isn't listed in the manual.
I reassembled the system outside the case and it worked fine. I put it back in the case and it worked fine. I then played COD4 and Crysis for about 4 hours without a single problem.
Yesterday I took the 4870 out to do some cable tidying and then put it back in. No POST, with post code 90 again. Tried the other PCIE slot (4x), still no post, but a different error code (26).
Having tried my old X850XT and my brother's 4850, they both work in the 4x slot. I can't POST with any card in the 16x slot.
Any ideas?
Edit: I'm starting to think that both the mobo and the graphics card are nackered, although I can't unserstand how the system could run an intensive game for 4 hours and then just not work.
