Problems with new build

Hi guys, I was wondering if you call could advise me please?

I finally finished building my new computer, but nothing will display from the graphics card.

If I run it with the graphics card in and the computer runs fine, but nothing appears on the monitor.
If I run it using onboard graphics from the motherboard it runs and displays on the monitor.
I tested the graphics card in another pc and it works fine there.

I called tech support and the guy said to update the BIOS on my system which should make the graphics card work again, but I would lose the overclock settings, but then I could call back and they would help me put in new bios settings to bring back the overclock?

I am fairly experienced with hardware but have never touched bios stuff before so I am a little apprehensive about this... I looked in the motherboard manual and it says to download the latest BIOS from there and extract it to a flash drive, then restart the computer and follow the directions on the Q-Flash utility to update it. Would this work?

My system is:
"Intel Extreme Masters Z77" Intel I5 3570k @4.4GHz DD3 OC Bundle
Samsung 840 pro 128GB SSD
Seagate Barracuda 2TB HDD with 64MB Cache
OcUK 850W Dual Rail Modular PSU
Running Winows 7 Pro

Thank you for any advice!

Edit- I'm a bit impatient as I waited so long to finally make this build so I'm going to go ahead with it, but any tips are still welcome.

Hmm I guess I should have wait longer for the second couple replies..

I updated the bios and now the graphics card works (yay) and everything seems to be fine, but now the display is very small on the monitor with huge black borders on each side, but as I write this I remember I haven't got round to installing the graphics software yet.
I am going to do that now and hope it fixes the huge borders problem, but after that how would I go about getting my OC back? Should I send an email to the standard support link or a specific address or call back in again?

While I'm on that subject though, I was wondering how does it work for the bundle and extra RAM? I have an extra 2x4 sticks of ram same speed as this lot which I bought a while ago in anticipation of starting a new build.. My friend is borrowing it right now but I am wondering if it is easy enough for them to send me new settings or something, do you guys think it's possible to ask for settings which would also support the extra RAM which I'd be able to set up when I get those sticks back?
Or, is it not allowed on the warranty or anything like that.. I don't really mind, it's worth a shot to add extra power to my pc as I run 3 monitors but I could use the RAM just as well as an upgrade to my old computer, I guess.

Edit - Yay, graphics driver updates fixed my problem with the bad borders!

Now I just wonder what would be the best way to go about contacting them about asking for a new BIOS. I think I shall call in again, hopefully I get the same guy so he will already know what is up..

You are right, I called support and it took a bit to get to the right line but when I got to tech support the person was very helpful and said they would email me what I need to put back the overclock.

How do I check it when I have put the new BIOS in?

Um... Do they have predefind code or is this something that OCUK would have to make a specific BIOS for, because the guy still hasn't emailed me anything?

I still haven't had any emails so I sent a message via support ticket on the website asking about it.

Decided I don't want to upgrade anyway so that makes life easier, but I was wondering if you have any tips on how I can check if the overclock worked when I do get a reply?

Sorry for taking a while to reply, I just moved houses and things dragged out longer than I would hope >_<

Thank you for the help guys I was able to get the overclock back and it's working a charm now, so thank you so much :)
