I have posted this in the OcUK monitor thread, but it may get overlooked so i thought i'd post a new topic for my problem.

Okay, here goes.

I took delivery of my brand new OcUK 24" monitor earlier today. And i've gotta say, its brilliant..except im having a bit of trouble with it.

If i put the resolution anything over 1680x1050, i get really, really, really bad flickering going up the left side of the screen mainly. Its horizontal lines going up the screen.

This happens on both DVI and VGA. This means, obviously, i cant use native resolution on the monitor, which makes it quite a bit blurry.

Also, in vista, when set to the max, native resolution, the screen goes horribly wrong, the colours go inverted, and the left side of the screen shows on the right, everything's on a slant, its just completely wrecked.

Is this anything i can fix? Or am i looking at RMAing it?

Thanks in advance, Adam.

if its defintley the monitor and not the GFX then id RMA.

Have you used your GFX card at this resolution on another monitor before?

Not at that resolution, no.

Thing is, when i try to take a screenshot of it messing up at that resolution, and when i paste it into paint, it shows as fine. That to me spells out it being the monitor.

Looks like RMa, i just wanted to be sure theres nothing im missing.

yeah that would mean monitor. Id wait incase anyone else has had the same issue but looks like an RMA job to me, good luck.
