Problems with outlook app on android

Guys - wife just got a new phone.

Silly girl put the wrong password in when setting it up and now it wont authenticate. So, she wants to re-insert the correct password however, all the instructions say to press the circle icon in the top left corner then go into gear settings etc however, because the app has the wrong password, it wont initialise to allow her to change the password.

Help please - its driving us crazy

Clear cache, data etc then start again.
If that doesn't work then delete the app, and reinstall from the store.

Thanks Flyingfish - the only thing that worked was to log into the account with the web browser and change the password - that seemed to sort it

Outlook was having issues yesterday. I couldn't get into my email at all. Was saying something about authentication error. Googled it and apparently it was down for loads of people
