I can't send email, but I can receive it.

I use some anti spam software that is a challenge/request program. It can send email no problem (i.e. it sends out the "challenges" without any problem).

Normally I use Outlook and it is configured to look for the anti spam software, it receives mail no problem (the same goes for Outlook Express and Mozilla's Thunderbird, I've been testing them tonight) but I can't send email.

I've double checked the configuration and all the settings, I can't find a problem. I've reloaded the email clients and it doesn't solve the problem. I've formatted the hard drive and reloaded everything back on and I still get the same problem. I've even tried without the anti spam software installed and I still can't send email.

I've phoned the ISP and they tell me there is no problem with my account or my mailbox. Even with their techy on the phone we couldn't get to the bottom of it.

I've ran virus scans (NOD32) and trojan scans (The Cleaner) and I can't find a problem.

I've checked my firewall (Sygate Personal Firewall) and I can't find a problem.

I've downloaded all of the Windows Updates as well as the Microsoft Office updates and it still doesn't work.

I'm at wits end! :( Can anybody think of a solution, or where I should look?

Edit:- This is the error message Outlook throws up
