Ok so i managed to get to 3.6ghz previously on my q6600. I formatted a month or so ago and only just noticed its running at 2.4ghz lol. For some reason I cant get my p.c to boot once i overclock it. The only way it seems to work is when i cmos restart it which is very annoying. Usually if the overclock was too much strain the computer would restart with the original settings however it no longer does this.
I did have problems before when i switched cases. The multiplier was stuck on 9 for example. I do remember i had to increase the north bridge before. But cant remember what it is called under bios.
Any ideas guys?
