problems with pc, 3 days after build.

i have NOT over clocked this just for your information

i have the Asrock ALiveSATA2-GLAN (Socket AM2) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard.

for some reason when loading up the system. it says the CPU info, and then the RAM info, then it pauses for at least 6 minutes before resuming. it happens each time. i have tried to remove the battery for few seconds, but still happens
i have also reset Bios to default settings. but still happens.

is this faulty hardware that i need to return to OcUK?

ummmm, check bios settings for mem test, might be enabled but you might not see the test

My friend had this problem with an old system, his ram was on its way out (well on stick of it) mite not be but run a mem test to rule it out

I'd be really really worried if the memory test took 6 minutes. Unless he has petabytes of RAM

Anyway he says that he sees the mem test.
