Problems with razer Headphones + Soundcard

Yeah, so I bought the razer soundcard and headphones bundle. I'm loving the headphones and they were fine when I was using the onboard sound.

When I installed my soundcard however, the sound is awesome (To be fair I dont notice that much of a difference, is that an indication of a problem aswell?) but now I sometimes get only one side of my headphones working at once, or else I sometimes dont get any sound at all. I downloaded the drivers from the razer website so I dont think that is the cause (The CD drivers arent compatible with vista ><)

Can anyone think of any possible reason for my Headphones/Soundcard to be doing this?

i have this problem, the wires are loose in the inline volume control thing. just jiggle them about, and the sound should come back, the build quality is pretty poor on these. its quite a common problem
 
Tried that and it didnt help, so I think maybe its a hardware connection problem for the soundcard.

Perviously, without the soundcard, the headphones were working perfectly, now since I installed the soundcard I'm getting this issue.

I would try the BIOS suggestion but since I use a USB keyboard it doesnt work until you get to the desktop, unfortunately, and I don't know how to enable USB keyboards without going into the BIOS. Any Suggestions?
