Problems with screensavers on Windows Vista??!!!

We are having trouble setting our own screensaver on Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit.

We have downloaded a number of screensavers now and they all download, when we click the ''run'' option and go in to our screensaver menu, the screensaver isn't there in the drop down menu.

Can someone help please?

Do you really need a screen saver?

The best way to actually save your screen is to let it go to standby.

Well we don't need one, but we want one so why not? lol

Its a feature thats supposed to come with Windows so we'd like to use it
