Yo all its me again. ive finally finished building my PC, im the 13 year old builder :P, anyway i have a problem as u've just guessed.... I cant enable SLI.
Ive installed nvidia drivers that came from the disk out of the gfx box. I did do one thing though, i installed the driver and mobo drivers before i actually put the SLI bracket thing on to connect the 2 cards. Could this be my problem? If not what could it be

Regards

S

I would have put the bracket on forst but if youve reinstalled the drivers it shouldnt make much difference.

What are the rest of your system specs.

Ive heard of problems enabling SLI with dual 7900GTX cards before, i think gibbo said ocuk were having problems.

PS, how did you manage to afford dual 7900GTXs when youre 13. Thats a lot of paper rounds :D :D

ok reinstalled drivers, while in the installation, i get the pop up that says that i have multi-gpu SLI compatibilty, but when i click on it, it says "You must remove any graphics cards that arent SLI compatiable before you can enable SLI" Any ideas?

Hmm, deffo sounds like the problem ocuk and a few others had, hopefully they will see this thread and help you.

What mobo do you have?

Do the cards work ok on thier own and have you tried them the other way round.

Also, are they pre-overclocked cards?
