Hey guys, having quite a few problems with my Steam install at the moment. I booted up my PC the other day and ran Steam... I then got the first error message here:
So OK, I click to get rid of that, but it's deleted Steam.exe for me, and I've no idea why! I navigate to Steam folder and try running the other Steam exe's, but none of them work. Anyway, I then downloaded the Steam install file from SteamPowered and tried the repair option. It got my Steam.exe back, but then when I tried to run it again, I got the same error and it deleted Steam.exe.
Running out of patience, I just uninstalled Steam and the 210GB+ folder of games. However, I'm getting the same damn errors after I've uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled it! Something seems to be blocking it, but I have no idea what!
Ideas please?
