I have a couple of problems with sound in vista and was wondering if you could help?
I have x3 PC's running vista - one uses analogue output and that is fine.
Of the other two they both have similar problems running with digital output.
When I try an set up the 5.1 speakers and test them - when the test initiates its as if something is being turned on - there is an audible pop and as the test ends it pops again. in between MP3 tracks it pops at end and then at beginning.
There is also a low frequency hum - I have tried it on optical and coax and it is still there so it is not an earth loop.
I have updated all drivers etc etc.
Any thoughts please?
