I am having a nightmare with wireless channels above 9.
For example I have a Tenda W311R+ based WDS network consisting of one WDS AP and three WDS clients and they work perfectly on channels 1 to 9 and all devices can connect. However if I change the channel to 10 or above I can still see the network using inSSIDer but my Galaxy Nexus, main laptop (Intel 6230), other laptop (Intel 1000), other phones, etc cannot connect yet my HP TouchPad connects fine.
Additionally I have just bought a couple of TP-Link WR1043WD to use with OpenWRT and 300 Mbps. I was hoping to use channels 13 + 9 and again it works perfectly with wireless channel 9 and below but it isn't even visible in inSSIDer on channels 10 and above (and doesn't enable with channels 12 or 13 but I know how to fix that with a regulatory.bin).
What is going on with channels 10 and 11 not even being visible in inSSIDer?!

Also in inSSIDer I see a D-Link @ 54 Mbps (RSSI -80) on channel 1 and a BT HH2 @ 130 Mbps (RSSI -60) on channel 6 and occasionally another HH2 on channel 10 but it's like -90 RSSI. There are others but they are rarely visible in the graph.
I know I should provide more details and screenshots of inSSIDer etc but the network is in use right now so I can't make any changes or do testing and I am hoping the above is enough for someone to be able to tell me something about why channels above 9 can be problematic.
