Problems with your WD Raptor?

My raptor works most of the time, but can stop on booting up, Or cause the BSOD, I have run tests on it with the WD software and it says it OK, but the problems are very intermittent could run for three weeks and then twice in one day the BSOD my question should I RMA it or buy another HD.

Any advice welcome, as the above article explains a lot!

Have had similar problems myself.

Now i have 2 3870s in crossfire the issue has vanished lol

Was using a 8800gts

Im still using my 2 x 74gb 16mb cache raptors.

Since switching to crossfire i havent had the no control panel or properties problem.

My only problem is it's the loadest mofo i've EVER heard. Installing a patch sounded like Rio Carnival had setup in my case lol.
