Morning guys (and poss girls)

Having a few problems with my new case.

1st. The temperature read out display doesnt seem to work.

2nd. When I plug the headset into the front panel it works fine but when I unplug it I get no sound.

Anyone had any similar problems or have the case and could point me in the right direction?

The problems youre having are down to how you've got the rig built.
For the temp readings have you got the plugs in the right pins on the mother board?
The sound problems can be altered from start/control panel/ sounds, then look for the option for head phones.
Are you using a sound card or onboard audio?

First off is the front panel connected? when you take it off there should be a wire between the front panel and the fan controller thing which needs connecting.

Also is the audio lead (if your not using HDMI) connected to your motherboard from the monitor?

Need to double check the connections but think everything is in the right place. Everything else works on the front panel ie usb, fan control.

Am running onboard audio at the mo (not sure what sound card to go for)

Yea think everything is connected, like I said in other post the front panel seems ok bar the read out display.

Im using HDMI so my monitor. Which works fine untill I plug the headset in, then when I take the headset out nothing.

Am going to look at setting but just fort I would ask first case its something straight forward.

The Asus cards are good imo, ive got the 5.1 DG and DGX pci an pci express.
To be honest its more than likely just the configuration you need alter in sounds for the problem with the head phone.

I have a nice high end amp and speakers (only 2.1) which im going to hook up today. I will see if the audio out (not HDMI) has the same problems with no audio after unplugging the headset.

Maybe a HDMI interface problem?

Could be m8 but i deffo think its a config prob.
I aint to good with the settings unless im messing with em at the same time lol.

Just found this Ginge,

Speakers work, plug in headphones - no sound, unplug headphones, speakers won't work.

"Hi,

Set the headphones as default playback device and check if it fixes the problem.

Follow these steps:
a. Right click on the volume icon in the taskbar and click on playback devices.
b. Select headphones.
c. Click on set default.
d. Click on Apply and then click Ok."

I'll give it ago, cheers fella. Just weird that the headset works perfect and the HDMI sound works perfect (before I plug and unplug the headset)
