cant get in to safemode on my gf's pc need to run a chkdsk and a fixmbr /r
but it wont let me even get in to the comp even using the os disk is there another way i can run a chkdsk ?

thanks this is really important as i dont rly wonna have to wipe the comp as of yet wonna use that as the last resort

thats all good and said but i cant actualy get in using boot cd due to it nearly finishes for me to use it and it blue screens and gives me BAD_POOL_CALLER never seen that before is there away i can do chkdsk n fixmbr without using the disk or been in safemode ?
