im using the acer aspire 8930g laptop, and it keeps overheating.
im using speedfan at the moment too monitor my temperatures which are all in the 60 degrees centigrade, except my cores which are currently running at 12 and 14 degrees, speed fan does not have a device to control fan speed and my fan is rarely coming on at its high speed, so im looking for a script or program which will allow me too control it and run my fan at full speed so i will have sufficient cleaning, i have recently applied new thermal paste and cleaned my fan of all dust

Thanks for any replys.

Try using CPUIDs hardware monitor. Those temps dont seem right to me :/

I'd look into a bios update. Check what features it adds first to make sure it's worth the flash.
