Problerm installing windows

My computer has been playing up the past month, needed a new harddrive, ram and gfx card. Today i thought i would start a fresh and i formatted the hard drive and started to install windows. I get the blue screen saying 'Windows Setup' in the top left corner and at the bottom of the screen 'setup is loading files: (file names) ' . After it is done loading my pc just restarts, and does not continue with the installation process. This just keep happening again and again and again.

seriously? its more or less a brand new motherboard aswell as cpu(just over a month old)... only thing not new is the psu

try download and burn ubcd http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/ and run some hardware tests.

hard to say. Could be many things. to find the problem you need to start ruling out things. so test your memory, then drive, then processer, etc. etc.

Your not repeatedly booting from the XP disk in the CD drive are you ?

could be dodgy windows cd, ide cables, cd drives..

thanks for the suggestions, but i will not be able to come online again until the morning. I'll reply tomorrow with an update of whats going on.
