Proce of RAM

have you noticed how much RAM ghas gone up in money. I was looking at I7 a couple of months ago and the RAM I was lookin at was around £60 for 6Gb 1333Mhz now the cheapest on OcUK is £100. I was looking for an upgrade for a freind the other day and the Corsair XMS2 TwinX 4Gb 6400 has doubled in price since around 9 months ago. What is this all about?

I have noticed this too, makes upgrading to i7 much harder now when 6GB costs what 12GB cost a couple of months ago

When i first specced up the i7 rig i have now, the ocz reaper 1600mhz c7 was listed at £99.00, a week or so later when i placed my order it had risen to £150.00.
