Hi all,
I'm currently on Talk Talk LLU.
I'm happy enough with the service, not really had any major downtime and I get good connection speeds.
Sky came to our exchange a month or so ago and as we already get Sky television I believe we can get a good deal on LLU broadband (as well as getting access to Anytime Plus).
In the past I've only ever moved from one BT reselling ISP to another.
Simple request of MAC code from old ISP and give it to the new one. As one service started the other one stopped and there was at most a couple of hours of downtime.
What is the process if I wish to move from one LLU to another - so from Talk Talk LLU to Sky LLU?
I'm assuming there is some kind of code involved - is it still a MAC code I need to request from Talk Talk?
When I order Sky I'm assuming I give them the code. However as this is LLU to LLU moving, is there likely to be any kind of "downtime" while the move happens?
As my actual phone line will also be moved from Talk Talk to Sky is there a possibility of loss of phone services for a while too?
Thanks for your help.
