Processes. Which ones can I chuck?

My PC boots up with 37 process, which I thought was low, but I have been told it is not.

So, which processes can I bin and which ones MUST I have running?

And why do I have so many svchosts!?

Ignore the ones in red, I am running them.

Seriously, unless thats running on a Pentium 200MMX just leave them.

I only worry if theres something in there I cannot identify (Usually malware). But then, I run with UAC ON!

Ignore them. This whole tuning processes malarky just isn't worth it nowadays.

4GB. This is my PC - other thread is about parent's.

It's at 45% because I'm programming. Ram usage is about 25% on boot.

Nothing to worry about at all, my workhorse of a PC is on 70 processes, I don't tend to close apps or documents that I use throughout the day and see only 25% of RAM used during idle (8GB total).

Win 7 really is efficient at memory management.
