Processing power or Memory?

Hey peeps,

Was looking at tweaking my settings up a notch, but have come across something I never thought of before.

I currently have a Bclk at 155 giving me 3.4Ghz (at x22) and my memory set at 15xx which is the highest option under the max.

So I thought I'd step it up to a Bclk of 160 to give 3.6Ghz (at x22) - this is about as high as I think I can go with my current cooler - but there's a little snag in that the new highest memory option under 1600 drops to 12xx.

Any ideas what the performance change will be?

I think the processing will help my gaming performance a little but would it be at a major cost to my video rendering speeds? (it takes long enough already lol - concidering more memory)

(all my voltages and all other settings are on Auto (I'm an OC noob) - the Bclk and memory are the only things I know about OCing lol. I've tried messing with voltage before only to have bsod every time)

Cheers :D
Howie.

[EDIT: OOPs!! Wrong area, could this be moved to the OC section? Sorry!!)

I'd of thought video rendering would be heavily CPU dependant, more memory might be good if you're running low but I'd not expect the speed to have a massive difference.

Are you running you're memory unlinked or on ratio? Unlinked should let you have more control over the exact speed of it.
