Which would be the best between these 2

Intel Core 2 Duo T5550 or Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T5750 and is it right that vista only supports a max of 3GB ram so a laptop with 4gb would only be able to use the 3

T5750 is better, its 2Ghz unlike the T5550 which is 1.833Ghz. Its kinda a no brainer i'd have thought? what is the difference in price between the two systems or configurations with those cpu's

Advent 5411
Intel Core 2 Duo T5750 (1.83 GHz, 667 MHz, 2 MB Cache)
4 GB MB DDR2 RAM
320 GB hdd
MOBILE INTEL GMA X3100
15.4" Widescreen Display
£479

Dell 1720
Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T5550
(1.83 GHz, 677 MHz FSB, 2 MB Cache)
3 GB Memory DDR 2
250 GB Hard Drive
DEDICATED 128 MB Graphics Card
£499.97

anthing else around for that price range with a big hdd and ram? im upgrading from a Gateway 8550GB, im not really upto speed on the laptop front

Obviously they have different screen sizes. I'd take the studio over it though, since the graphics card is a dedicated one. I would think this would make more difference performance wise, over a gig of ram and a slightly slower clock.

Similar price: Dell Studio 15, which you'd get similar spec to the advent, although with a better graphics card (radeon 3450). You can customise them on the dell website to get the spec you want.

thanx chaps, the stuff i do is cpu and ram intesive so thats the more important bits im after its not used for gaming or movies really
