Did you order a OEM processor? OEM comes with no retail packaging and no cooler.

You can DSR it if you are unhappy, and get a retail version.

lol! well, don't despair. Buy either a compatible stock cooler super cheap or if you want to OC then get a decent cooler - I'm sure someone here can recommend one for you if you need help with that.

I'm sure you wouldn't, but just in case... do NOT use this CPU with no cooler!

plus no paste, so you add up the bits your missing and would have been better off with retail, plus your warranty is one year with oem and 3 years with retail

DSR it and get Retail, I always buy retail for the 3 year warranty.

Easy and cheap to return under DSR.
Get an RMA and send back first class recorded, shouldn't cost more than a couple of quid max.

i buy oem, my warranty was void as soon as it was home anyway... water cooled so didnt need the cooler, and got loads of thermal paste.

sometimes OEM is the way to go
