Processor Upgrade Query

Hi All

I need a little advice.

What would be the best bang for buck CPU upgrade for my GA-MA770T-U3DP motherboard.

I currently run an AMD Athlon II X3 435 2.9ghz.

Have a look at the cpu support list for your board.

Make sure you are looking at the right support list for your revision of the board (1.1, 1.3 3)

That'll be a 1.0 then:

Phenom II x4 9xx(whichever higher number you can afford). I don't think it will handle a 6 core without overheating.
