I've got a little 1800-8g and am trying to get a little 2Gbit trunk going. On my linux box, I've configued a bond0 interface of type 802.3ad which seems to come up ok.
In the web-interface on the switch, I seem to have two options: (1) Set both ports (7 and 8) as members of 'Trunk T1' and / or (2) enable LACP on both ports. I guess that LACP means that it intelligently figures it all out, and connectivity seems to be working with that enabled. But I don't know if that's by happy accident or if that's how it's meant to be configured
Until I stick another box on a trunk, I've no real way of testing it, but until then it'd be good to know how to configure it.
